The images on Celtic Iron Age cins are little known and few appreciate the amazing range of design and meaning. Styles vary from Classical figurative to Cubist. Their power I find endlessly evocative. I have been collecting and drawing these images for a good few years now, and I believe that the history of European art and design is the poorer for not having easier access to this rich vocabulary.
