The Yews of Llywel
More exploration into visualising the spirit presence of great trees. an attempt to express the sublime, rather than reproducing a physical representation.
Working through some images to combine into painted works, or maybe prints, I used varying exposures and contrasts to 'look' at the photographs in more selective ways. The aim: to evoke the  unique experience of ancient yew trees beyond their rrecognisable 'treeness', reaching for the underlying alien sentience.....
