Tree Seer

This series of images was created to illustrate my book "Tree Seer", an exploration into Tree Spirit Healing. The original photographs were manipulated to emphasise certain qualities and atmospheres. Unlike human beings, trees do not intrude into or displace space, but include and enfold their surroundings. The emphasis on neagative space patterns and play of light is an attempt to present the famiiiar as extraordinary, the ordinary as numinous and sentient.
